I only knew Joe Murphy as a voice on several podcasts that I listen to regularly. He came across as a gentle, intelligent soul who enjoyed doing the shows and talking about the things they talked about. He passed away after a battle with leiomyosarcoma carcinoma, a rare form of cancer. Regular updates on his condition were given on the show Wingin’ It!, and Joe’s demeanor was upliftingly bright for a man who increasingly knew that he did not have long to live.
As a fringe member of the Far Point Media fanbase, I raise a virtual glass of root beer for Joe.
