This is the question and answer page, as you may have guessed. Here I’ll answer questions about the journal and about myself. No promises that you’ll get the answers you want, but I’ll try to keep it entertaining. Everything I say here will be true, from a certain point of view.

Q: Dream Weaver Seven?
A: I’ve always been interested in dreams. Even the word “dream” has dimensions. It can refer to human ambition, what goes on in your head when you sleep, grandiose stuff people long for, a character in a Neil Gaiman story, the object of your carnal desires (real or not) or that hot fudge sundae you’ve just got to have for dessert. A dreamweaver is a spinner of dreams, whether his own or for others. Seven is my favorite number. And “dreamweaver” is taken on any site I go to. So, Dream Weaver Seven, or DW7.

Q: Why “gamer, writer and dream weaver” in that order?
A: Those are the three things that belong to me, that no one can take away. I enjoy games. They keep me sane. I write as an outlet and as expression. The day I give up on dreams is the day they bury me in the cold, cold ground.

Q: What’s with all the movie stuff? Stick to games!
A: Watching a film is like dreaming. It transports you. It shows you possibilities. Same as games do. They’re facets of the same gem.

Q: What’s with all the sports stuff? Stick to movies!
A: Sports inspire many, many people. How many kids *dream* of being like Mike or Tiger or A-Rod or Peyton?

Q: What’s with all the games? Stick to sports!
A: Games tell a story. They transport you elsewhere, occupying your mind and giving you respite from the world. Whether it’s a roleplaying game, board game, card game or video game it has the same ability to give you escape from reality. Just for a moment. It’s even better if you have some friends to escape with you. Enjoy.
